At KO, the point is to experience music, to participate in music, to learn how to take it apart and put it back together again. In the Middle School, you can't escape it; we've set aside an hour a day when everyone is involved somewhere in music. There is always choice involved (you get to pick what you'd like to try), but we feel it's a critical part of your education in the world. If you're an experienced player or singer, we have select groups that can challenge your skills. If you're a beginner, we want to support you there, too. We want you to join in, be part of the team, stretch your wings!

In the high school, the opportunities for choice continue, and while there's no special time in the day set aside for music, there is a graduation requirement of at least three semesters of participation in the arts that will encourage you to keep your hand in the game and some especially intriguing possibilities in music technology.
