Kingswood Oxford School strives to provide its students with the skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century.The Schools' information technology department has established a computer and communications environment that provides easy access to devices, services, the Internet and a variety of online research databases. The department continually upgrades our technology teaching and communications resources, providing a critical pathway for student learning and success in the future.
Goals and Plans
The goal of the KO information technology department is to establish an information and communications technology environment that promotes teaching and learning 21st century content in a 21st century context.
We plan to create this environment by continuously identifying and adopting 21st century technology tools and skills so our teachers can use them across multiple courses and disciplines. As part of this process, over time we will review the current state of computer hardware, software and services available to schools like ours, set a series of internal objectives that as they are accomplished will evolve the Kingswood Oxford ICT environment and closely monitor where and how new technologies and practices can aid in our progress.
We are proud of the technology structure we have at KO and the many ways it serves our community each day.
